This weekend Asheville welcomes the 33rd annual “Bele Chere” street festival in Downtown Asheville. It’s close enough to our Asheville bed and breakfast to walk there, if you like…a pretty good plan since it’s attendance over the three festival days has been measured in the past at 300,000 people!

What you can expect:1. Music in abundance. Stages are located around town and a variety of bands are always expected. 2. Street vendors. Crafts and fun stuff , some serious, some cute and inventive. 3. Food. Downtown restaurants are mostly open plus lots of outdoor food….some from the local restaurants, some of the casual hot dogs and such. 4. Lots of company. There will be crowds, usually not in a hurry….just casual, as we hope you will be.

So mark your calendar for next weekend. “Bele Chere” festival is on the way!
